And as the regulations are constantly updated, it’s crucial for brands to pay attention to the concerns on the radar of regulatory bodies right now.
But with no global regulatory body, and some regions much stricter than others in terms of what is and isn’t law-abiding in beauty, it isn’t always simple to stay up-to-date. I spoke to industry professionals to understand how brands can make sense of regional and international regulations to identify the best path to follow — and I also pulled together a few of the key changes in beauty legislation this year.
